This painting was created in front of a live audience at the recent Roaring 20's Gala at St. Clair of Montfalco in Grosse Pointe, MI. I'm not sure if Lumbard ever actually appeared at the Fox but it is possible that she did. The work was a piece of performance art; I interacted with audience members as I painted. It was then part of the live auction that evening. Money raised went toward improving facilities at the School.
