In the tradition of the Power of Positive Painting©,
the Maniscalco Gallery offers classes in painting,
portrait painting and figure drawing. As in all Robert's
classes, the emphasis is on liberating the artist
within by developing visual literacy - how to draw
and paint what you see. Most classes are ongoing so
you can sign up for a block of time that is convenient
to you.
Current Schedule of Classes
Power of Positive Painting© with
Robert Maniscalco: Robert will present a short drawing/painting
lesson at the beginning of each session. Students
may work in any medium and subject (instructor will
provide/suggest reference material as necessary. We
will be using the Power of Positive Painting©
method, which includes the study of values and
the “Three R's” of drawing. Honest observation
will be the key. The instruction will be tailored
to allow for a deepening of the individual's unique
approach to the project at hand. Tuesdays
6-9 PM OR Thursdays 6-9 PM, $100 for 6
sessions
Portrait Painting with Robert Maniscalco:
Students paint portraits in oil from a live model
The class will work with each model for two sessions.
