Wild Things was the launch pad for the whole NETI concept. Robert had done a few fantasy paintings at various points throughout his career but that painting got him really taking the whole doppelganger thing more seriously. It was not converted from another painting, like some of the others. Robert gave himself over to NETI and he just started into it and let the painting speak to him, very intuitively. Lots of stories and depth.
