Snow Angel

Snow Angel 34″ x 34″ oil on panel, framed embellished by the artist (39 x39″ with frame)

Snow Angel captures another dramatic moment in time, in the thick of winter, when the golden hour sighs, and the light plays tricks on our eyes. Then in a flash, a snow angel seems to appear out of nowhere. She is pure magic, emanating with light. If you turn away, she will be gone. She is what children conjure when they lay down in the snow and wave their tiny hands and feet. She exudes feminine power, and yet, her power is universal, ubiquitous. She no longer needs her crown, because hers is the power of gentleness, the force of kindness and the strength of wisdom. I love when the sun peaks through the clouds after a grand snowstorm, when it is still dreamy and untouched. The Cardinal visits too, to bring good tidings from beyond.
