This painting is effective because of my control of values. The lights were the last thing to be painted, turning a dull street scene into a wonderland of delight. Click the Online Demo link above to paint it yourself. I painted a more "finished" version of this image in oils, the original of which is sold. I prefer the sketchiness of this earlier, "quick and dirty" version.
