Charleston Getaway captures a lovely afternoon in Charleston; we have so many. A beautiful Moped scooter calls to us to take it for a ride. A Charleston hidden garden, forbidden, makes it more inviting. The lush flower boxes relate to a series of window boxes I’ve come back to for years. The flowers vine down, inviting us to jump on the scooter and just go places. We long for adventure and here it is beckoning to us. And yet it is very introspective; as we take in this scene, we see within. We wonder what is inside this beautiful Charleston residence. What would it be like to live here Charleston is a place to reflect, to join with nature and history and wander. I invite the viewer to reflect on the possibilities, the next best thing to being there (maybe even better).
