Haughty Llama is a continuation of my wildlife series. I have also painted an Elephant, a Tiger and a Rhino, as well as another Llama. I met this very friendly Llama at Bee City, during a family visit to this zoological wonderland, one of Charleston’s best kept secrets. Actually, it’s in Cottageville, and I highly recommend a visit to this privately owned petting zoo, where you can really interact with this amazing collection of animals. This is where I painting my recent “ugly” goat.

Haughty Llama is the latest in my love affair with the #WWF and another message that painting these magnificent animals is a far more noble pursuit than poaching them.
