Rosta Man, 9″ x 12″, oil on canvas, framed by the artist

I painted Rosta Man at the Art Students League, in a life painting class with Harvey Dinnerstein, in the same room where my father studied with Frank Reilly some 40 years earlier. The place was haunted with their ghosts and the ghosts of so many other greats who came before them. So the piece has some deep significance to me personally. It is not only a piece of my art, it is a piece of my history.
