Wayne County, MI — The Wayne County Council for Arts, History & Humanities (WCCAHH) is pleased to announce a unique exhibition - "Wayne County - The Artists Among Us/Poets Among Us." For the first time this will be a traveling exhibit with stops at four premiere art venues throughout Wayne County through the end of November for maximum exposure to the public. The schedule of Receptions, which are free and open to the public, is listed below. This extraordinary ARTnership includes Poets Among Us – Top Detroit Poets will write poems inspired by the artworks and perform them at each of the receptions. Juror, James Tottis, is acting Curator of American Art at the Detroit Institute of Art, as well as Adjunct Professor in the Humanities Department at Wayne State University.
