How unfortunate that Hitler turned out to be a better dictator than he was a painter. I often wonder how much suffering the world would have been spared if only he had remained a painter instead of becoming the evil force he did become.

Moral: Buy Art or the World will have More Hitlers

This makes me think about all the great painters (and other creatives) who never become “successful.” And yet, how much better the world is with them in it. I need to write a play about Hitler, the painter. What if someone somehow went back in time and gave the man a break, only to return to our time and learn that someone with a different name, went on to do exactly the same thing Hitler did.

Of course, since we really can’t go back in time, let us instead consider giving the artists who we know a break.

Buy some damn art, people. Maybe save the world!
