Self Portrait as Beethoven began as a demo at the Blair Center. Based on a “selfie” photo taken while playing the master in a Threshold Theatre production of 33 Variations. It is a continuation of my love affair with light, with all its levels of meaning. I got to take a crack at capturing his spirit both as an actor and as a painter.
