Coexist 24×24 oil on linen, gallery wrapped

During our recent trip to France, I kept passing this bridge, between Blois and Sevremont. Each time there was some marvelous activity, either the cows grazing, reflecting in the pond or a duck swimming by. One time, two men were wading with big black buckets, no doubt harvesting something delicious from the ecosystem. There, from upon that bridge, I experienced something akin to balance. I had to paint it. So I reconstructed this scene from my imagination and my memory.
