Lighthouse with Mountain

Lighthouse with Mountain 11 x 14″ oil on canvas panel

This started as a class demo and became a finished painting later in my studio. I enjoy the placid, calm feeling the juxtaposition of the firm, steady lighthouse against the ethereal oft backdrop of the distant mountain. A boat appears in the distance to enhance the perspective. It is a perfect reminder to be calm amid uncertainty.
