“My Backyard-Rose” 5″ x 8″ x 2″ oil on canvas, gallery wrapped on heavy stretchers, with simulated soil and roots

My backyard-Rose is part of a series celebrating natural objects, found in my backyard.  They are made with epoxy resin and filament to look as if they were ripped from the ground and hung directly onto the wall. This is from a rose bush director Barbara Pitcher gave us.
