Faces of the Lowcountry
Virtually any artwork Robert Maniscalco has created is available as 1) a one-of-a-kind Original (certified authentic), 2) a hand-embellished canvas Giclee (certified authentic and limited to 5) or 3) an Artist Proof (certified authentic and limited to 5). All giclees are printed with archival inks on archival canvas and hand-embellished by the artist. All APs are printed with archival inks on archival paper. I have suggested appropriate sizes in editions of 5, but any size giclees and APs can be created ON DEMAND.
Please note: The images of all Robert Maniscalco artworks are copywritten, solely owned by Robert Maniscalco. They are not public domain. On occasion, some are made available for limited licensing, by agreement. Please contact the artist to obtain permission for use or to purchase a user license. Thank you Tom for your insight and perspective on the age old debate on nudity. Apparently, even male nudity from the waste up is a thing. I think ageism may have also been a factor - no one wants to see my sagging carcass. I'm proud I won, but I've been around long enough to know it could have easily been a bust - just not my bust. "Reflections" goes to Cincinnati next for a national show. I'm proud of the high quality this show is attracting, raising the artistic standards, if not the moral standards, of our region. This was my second 'best of' in as many years of the Lowcountry FA Showcase. Now, the question dangles tantalizingly over the horizon: should I go for three next year? Or quit while I'm ahead (but not a semi nude body!)? ...
