Charleston Artist Guild Fall Signiture Show 2025
This old guy modeled for a New Orleans Power of Positive Portrait Painting workshop, back in the early 1990s. And I always wanted to paint him. So here he is. I snapped a photo and always meant to get around to him. There were 20 participants in the workshop so I didn’t have a chance to demo.
I must say, I added a lot to the terrible photo I took. I enjoyed creating the sparkle of color in his flesh. He of course is long gone, but his portrait lives on forever.
