Harbor is a more tonal work for me. I wanted to create the haze just before sunset, the quiet lull in the afternoon, when the ships are in from a long day shrimping, but before the day is done. The glare from the sun shimmers on the water. It is quiet. It is still. The safety of the harbor beckons to all.  We are in Shem Creek, Mt Pleasant, SC. But we could be anywhere there is light, water and desire to come home.
